After having been around the Sunday League scene for some time, most notably for The Old Swan, Pun signed for FC MMIX in September 2010 to give the squad another attacking option and came boasting higher level experience.

A lot was asked of Pun on his debut, being asked to lead the line in a 4-5-1 formation only an hour after meeting the majority of his team-mates, but he got stuck into the task well and showed enough promise to warrant a start in the very next game as he began to really grow into proceedings. But his season was then tragically cut short when a routine challenge with Michael Morton – who was then keeping goal for Kiln Farm – saw him sustain a cruciate knee injury, instantly ruling him out for approximately 18 months. His place in the squad was unquestionably kept, though, as he began his recuperation and rehabilitation .
