Reeb, Daniel  |  DOB: 21st April, 1982

FC MMIX debut: August 2009, vs MKXI (8-2 victory)

After a youth career with MK Panthers and Brickhill Youth, Danny first came to attention during a 3-year stint with MKDSAFC between 2005 and 2008 while also turning out for MKMA and MK Durbar, who he helped to a league and cup double in 2008/09. Having also spent time at full-back and in the heart of the midfield as well as in the centre of the defence, Danny came as one of the most versatile players in the FC MMIX squad and always looks to make a big impact with his combative, brave and intelligent performances.

Total 2009/10 appearances: 18 (1 goal)

Danny featured only 3 times in the first 10 games of the season, though he did play the full 90 minutes in the first ever FC MMIX fixture, as he found himself used mainly as a utility player due to other commitments. But from November onwards he carved a niche for himself in the right-back position, making 15 appearances from a possible 17 – only missing 2 through injury – including the Berks & Bucks campaign which saw him net his only goal of the season. He noticeably grew as the season progressed, taking no prisoners at the back and terrorising the opposition going forward.

Total 2010/11 appearances: 16 (4 goals)

Appearances were again sporadic at the start of the season, with Danny only featuring in 2 of the first 11 games before gradually becoming more of a permanent fixture as the season progressed. Once more regularly in the matchday squad he picked up exactly where he had left off, particularly flourishing in the right wing-back position as MMIX flipped to a 3-5-2 formation midway through the campaign. He also found more joy in front of goal, too, netting the goal that sent MMIX through to the Bill Johnson Supplementary Cup semi-finals as well as the 1st goal in the 7-2 Alf Carter Cup mauling of Kings Arms, and a beautiful diving header as part of a brace in the 5-3 victory over FC Lifesearch during MMIX’s 11-game winning run towards the end of the campaign.
