Paton, Lee  |  DOB: June 7th, 1983

FC MMIX debut: August 2009, vs MKXI (8-2 victory)

Arguably the hardest working player to ever pull on a football shirt, Lee was specifically recruited during the FC MMIX trial sessions after coming to the forefront when BT took on MKDSAFC in 2008/09, before impressing for Shenley Hotel alongside former player Joel McBrearty as they won the Thursday 6-a-side league at Stantonbury.

Total 2009/10 appearances: 15 (3 goals)

Never managing to string together a run of more than 4 consecutive appearances due to work commitments, Lee didn’t feature as much as everyone would have hoped but whenever he did, he definitely gave his all. A player who literally never stops running throughout the 90-minutes and brings a hard-working, tenacious and competitive attitude he featured in the centre of midfield, in the free-role between the striker and on both flanks and impressed in every position that he found himself in, picking up the MOTM in January’s defeat to Willen as well as scoring one of the goals of the season; an audacious 35-yard volley in the 8-1 victory against MKXI in September 2009

Total 2010/11 appearances: 13 (0 goals)

Lee began the season appearing in 6 of the first 7 games, including a Man Of The Match performance in the pre-season defeat to FC Lifesearch, before work commitments began to once again get in the way of his development and his appearances became more sporadic. He appeared only 3 times in the next 22 games, but then featured in 3 of the last 5 games of the season including 90-minute displays in the 4-3 Alf Carter Cup 2nd leg victory over Kings Arms, as well as the 5-3 semi-final victory over AFC Santander in that same competition, greatly impressing in the process.
