Page, Scotty  |  DOB: May 3rd, 1986

FC MMIX debut: October 2009, vs Wolverton Town (11-2 defeat)

No relation to midfielder Mo, Scott showed true determination during the summer trial sessions and earned himself a place in the squad after displays up front and in the heart of the defence brought him to the attention of the management. A battling, hard-working and competitive player, you could always guarantee that Scott would give 100% and wear his heart on his sleeve whenever a chance might arise.

Total 2009/10 appearances: 11 (2 goals)

If anyone was the very definition of how hard work and tenacity pays off, then it must be Scotty Page. Looking like he would struggle to break into the first team squad, injuries and suspensions thrust him into the limelight and he couldn’t have grabbed the opportunity any further. He went on to feature in 8 of the last 9 games, putting in performances so strong that he kept out those that had previously kept him on the sidelines. Scoring the goal that put FC MMIX through to the quarter-finals of the Supplementary Cup in extra-time, he found himself in the heart of the defence in the final few games and again greatly impressed in the process.

Total 2010/11 appearances: 29 (3 goals)

2010/11 picked up where 2009/10 left off for Scotty, with the big defender once again being a regular in the matchday squad. Featuring in 29 of the 35 possible games – only missing out because of injury or prior commitments – he cemented himself as one of the first choice centre-backs, and struck up a fierce partnership with Karl Jones and Ian Gray when MMIX flipped to a 3-5-2 formation midway through the season. He also beat his previous goalscoring record too, netting a brace in the 13-0 pre-season victory over P+MM in August 2010 as well as a bullet header in the 3-2 defeat to FC Lifesearch 5 weeks later.
