Page, Mo  |  DOB: December 20th, 1983

FC MMIX debut: August 2009, vs MKXI (8-2 victory)

A real lynchpin of North Bucks side Great Linford FC, as well as core member of the Central Barbers and Isotonic Zambuccas teams, the signing of Mo Page was a real statement of intent for FC MMIX. A player who truly leaves a void whenever he is absent, and an extremely popular member of the squad, Mo was billed as the very epitome of hard work and tenacity and with his quick thinking and willingness to bring his team-mates into the game.

Total 2009/10 appearances: 9 (2 goals)

Despite making only 9 appearances from a possible 27, Mo still proved to be a key member of the squad and picked up the MOTM award a total of 5 times from those 9 matches. Injuries and Saturday commitments meant that he only made 2 appearances in 2010 (once as a makeshift centre-back, in the 3-3 draw with Willen) but again picked up the MOTM award in both. He also netted in the first ever FC MMIX fixture; a superb solo effort, beating 4 players before calmly slotting the ball home.

Total 2010/11 appearances: 7 (1 goal)

Featuring in 2 pre-season fixtures, including a goalscoring performance against Loughton Athletic, Mo left these shores and decided to travel to Asia and, as a result, was unavailable for selection until the end of January 2011 before finally completing his registration. He then figured in 4 of the next 5 games, including the 4-2 victory over AFC Santander which set MMIX on their 11-game winning run, before opting to sign for Great Linford on loan for the rest of the season in a bid to catch up on some of the football that he had missed during his travels.
