A quick and dynamic player who could operate with both feet as well as leading the line, Shane signed for FC MMIX in the summer of 2010 after a career that had already seen him play for the likes of New Bradwell St Peter, Kiln Farm and most notably Great Linford Youth where he once scored 47 goals in just one season.

FC MMIX debut: July 2010, vs The Dixon XI (6-1 victory)

Last appearance: February 2011, vs Loughton Athletic (3-1 defeat)

Part of the new group of players that committed for 2010/11, Shane scored a brace on his debut against The Dixon XI and went on to score another 4 goals by the beginning of September as he instantly made himself a mainstay of the matchday squad. Unfortunately for Shane a lack of confidence – and what appeared to be some bad guidance – saw his performances drop from their original promise, and he scored just 1 further goal during his time with MMIX before it was mutually agreed in February 2010 that it would be best for Shane to focus on playing his football elsewhere.
