One of the more senior members of the squad, Steve brought a whole host of experience with him after having played at a higher level for the likes of Aylesbury Vale and Risborough Rangers in the South Spartan Midlands League, as well as several other locally renowned teams.

Steve never quite managed to live up to expectation as he struggled with injuries and with a lot of competition in his chosen position, he found himself being pushed down the pecking order on an almost monthly basis. He made his debut in September 2009 and started November’s 3-1 victory over Yardley Athletic, operating as makeshift striker, but after a late withdrawal from the Berks & Bucks campaign he only featured one more time – in April 2010 – before his eventual release at the end of the season.
